Quality labels

The quality of the materials used is guaranteed by the use of steel of the very best quality, guaranteed by various labels such as SS Quality (largely stainless steel), TOP Quality (Chrome steel) and ALU Quality (aluminized steel).
Simons Sportsystem exhausts are made to be as durable as possible under normal or demanding driving conditions. The pipes and damper walls are made of extra strong material with special support points in those areas that are important for the exhaust system. A stainless steel gasket is used where necessary to prevent the damper from burning out. Aluminum, chrome and stainless steel is used to prevent corrosion. Finally, the end pipe is always made of polished stainless steel.

To ensure that the exhaust pipes do not discolour yellow, Simons sports exhaust systems are fitted with inserts that are intended to help to dissipate the great heat. An outlet made from SS Quality steel can thus last ten to twenty years.
Top Quality Steel offers a shorter lifespan and lasts 10 years on average. Over the years, these outlets always discolor due to the great heat development.
Finally, the Alu Steel Quality exhausts are designed to last for three to six years, depending on the engine characteristics, use and road conditions. The parts that are visible are also always sprayed.
